What We Believe

We believe that the Bible is inspired by God and is infallible. The 66 Books of the Bible were divinely given from God to His prophets and apostles. Therefore, Life Church believes in expository teaching or taking verse by verse from Genesis to Revelations - We believe there is one God who eternally exists in three persons, The Father, The Son, and the Holy Spirit.

The Trinity - We believe in one God exists perfectly in 3 persons, The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit.

God is the Creator of the Universe and He created it in 6 days. God is the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. He is the only God.

God is in control of everything. He is omnipotent, omnipresent, and He is the ruler of the Universe.

Jesus is fully man and fully God. Jesus has been here from the beginning of time. "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning." John 1:1-2

Through Jesus everything was made both in Heaven and on Earth. Jesus was a perfect person, and He was born from an immaculate birth. Since God doesn't allow sin into Heaven, and Jesus was a sinless person he freely died for us so that we could have eternal life. Jesus is the atonement for our sin. He is the bridge between us and God. Jesus died for our sins after being beaten. He was placed on a cross. He arose on the third day and was witnessed to walk on this earth by the disciples and nearly 500 people. He then ascended to the Father and now sits at the right hand of the Father.

The Holy Spirit is the third part of the Trinity, yet equal in value. The Holy Spirit was promised by Jesus before He died. He said that He would send a Helper. "If you love me, you will obey what I command. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Counselor to be with you forever - The Spirit of truth." John 14:15-17.

Salvation comes through Jesus alone. The only way to have eternal life is to believe in Jesus as Lord and Savior. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the father except through me." John 14:6
